geforce 7150m nforce 630m driver xp geforce 7150m nforce 630m driver xp

With the Windows XP Home Edition disk I had but eventually I found each piece of hardware s driver, I have the Nvidia GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M model.

Sorry for piggybacking on this, but I acn t seem to find out how to start a new thread

GeForce 9100 integrated graphics

and, apparently, an nForce motherboard with the followinig drivers

NVIDIA nForce System Management driver version 4.6.6.0

NVIDIA nForce System Management Controller driver version 5.1.2600.152 file listed as nvsmu.sys

I am eligible and should be receiving my WIN 7 upgrade shortly, but:

the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor tells me that my NVIDIA nForce System Management Controller is not compativble with Windows 7, that I should update my driver.  I ve checked the NVIDIA site and supposedly I ve found updated drivers, but their forums say that these updates cause allosrts of problems like killing the ethernet controller which is abd for me since that s how I connect to the inernet

Does HP have an updated set of drivers for this NVIDIA components.  I notice someone said to use the Vista drivers, but they looked even more downlevel than what I have.

Thanks in advance and once again, sorry to hijack this thread

I have the same problem too. I got an HP Pavilion dv6915nr/HP Pavilion dv6700 Entertainment Notebook PC. I got a copy of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and I did reformat my OS from Windows Vista to Windows 7 x64. I have downloaded lots of Video Drivers over the net and find none which could be a compatible driver for my PC. Please help me and I need a reply as soon as possible. My Video Card is NVIDIA GeForce 7150M.

I really need an assistance from HP Emlpoyees and Technicians. Thank you. Here is my email address in case of  any assistance to be given.

I have been playing with driver issues for HP dv series for several weeks. I have swapped with a user an HP dv6000 series for an HP dv9000 series.  Both have the AMD Turion and the nForce chipset for hardware support.

The first blatant issue: Since HP unofficially supports W7 on the dv6000 series, why not support OFFICIALLY both the dv6000 and dv9000 series. These laptops use the same chipsets.

I have downloaded ALL the nForce chipset drivers. I am attempting to make a matrix of what drivers WORK PROPERLY for the dv6000 and dv9000 series I have in my possesion after I rework the BGA video problems HP and nVidia caused. Bad PR move, people.

Problems encountered using your fix : Ethernet port, DVD burner and coprocessor  NOT WORKING.

A partial fix: dv6000 series nForce drivers worked to fix the DVD burner not being seen on the dv9000.

I might have more solutions when I fill out the matrix.

this msg is being written from the dv9000 running Windows 7. None of the drivers support the coprossesor and that along with the poor heatsink design makes a cooling pad a must

P.S. ALL drivers from Vista give you the unsupported driver message and terminate. HP engineers COULD fix this problem, but choose not to. The nVidia site says go back to your computer support site .

I don t like driver Catch-22.  Especially from the HP-TITES.

I have an HP Pavilion dv9608nr laptop running Windows 7 upgraded from Vista. I am using a Panasonic plasma TV connected to the HP monitor connector as my main   only monitor. I tried to change the refresh rate and resolution to something incompatible with the TV, rendering it unwatchable. The only way I found to fix it was to delete the video driver. Now my computer does not recognize the video card, and will not let me install a new driver. Do you have any suggestions.

I am trying to install the Deskjet 930c in Windows 7 32bits and I am not obtaining.

Try going to Add Printer, select a local printer, select the proper port, then when the list of printers comes up select Windows Update.   This will take several minutes without any visible progress indicator, but once it completes you should have the HP Deskjet 930C/932C/935C avaialble as a choice under the HP not Hewlett Packard section.

On the bottom of your laptop there is a barcoded tag. On it you will find both Model name and model number.

I didn t realize that the keystroke combo didn t work in Win 7 RC. Now I knowThanks

Here is a link that will explain the tag

EDIT by Katie_H 4/1/11 : Fixed broken link

Hi Guys, I have an HP DV6-2113tx running Win 7 32 bit Intel Core i5 M520 2.40GHz 4gb ram

The bluetooth was working fine up until today ie could pair with my mobile phone, my bluetooth mouse and my other laptop.   It still pairs works my mouse, but I cannot pair it with my mobile phone Nokia 6110 Navigator or my other laptop HP DV2616tx - Win Vista 32 bit - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.20GHz 3gb ram.

The old laptop DV2616tx still connects fine with the mouse and the phone.

The DV6-2113tx however cannot find any bluetooth devices when you search for them.  When you right click the bluetooth icon in system tray and select show bluetooth devices, it will not list the mouse, laptop or mobile phone there although it did before this problem started

If you go up a level to Devices and Printers it lists Devices 2 HID Keyboard Device; My Laptop, Printers and Faxes 4 and then Unspecified 2 which has bluetooth peripheral device and standard modem over bluetooth link.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the bluetooth drivers as well as removing the 2 bluetooth devices in the unspecified category as well as turning the bluetooth on and off via HP wireless assistant.

In device manager, under the bluetooth radios branch are the HP integrated module with bluetooth 2.1 wireless technology Microsoft Bluetooth Emulator so the bluetooth exists, the fact the mouse is working means it is running to some extent

I know the problem is not with the phone, as the phone can locate both laptops, but if I try to initiate a connection with the DV6-2113tx from the phone, after a few seconds it fails because the laptop doesn t respond.

i have a similar problem with my touchsmart tm2

and as far as i see it, since 08.17.2010 nothing happened

i tried reinstall the hp driver, uninstalled the hp driver and tried to work with microsoft driver, uninstalled the microsoft driver and tried to work with hp driver, reinstall the chipset driver, reinstall anything but i cant even get any functionality of my bluetooth back

allthoug i can see my laptop from other bluetooth devices and im just like wtf..

so, please support, support me

My question on Bluetooth on the HP 630 is as follows:

I want to connect my smartphone to the internet via the bluetooth of my HP 630 laptop.

- HP630 with Qualcomm Atheros AR3011 Bluetooth 3.0 Hs Adapter  chip.

So far, I have paired my phone with the laptop, which does give me 2 unknown device it can t properly install the driver for. which is known for an HTC one X according to many android forums

Anyway, I can connect the device through the accesspoint in Devices and Printers and therefore visible in the networkcentre under networkconnections as Bluetooth-networkconnection PAN Personal Area Network.

Now I understand that when you want to share your internet over the LAN connection you select its properties- share- 1st checkbox and select a homenetwork, right. This is how I share my internet from laptop to smartphone over WiFi

But the Bluetooth connection is not available in this dropdown menu. Only Wireless 1 and 2 which is the Qualcomm WiFi chip and Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport blabla.

So that s the first problem I think it is impossible.

Secondly, by selecting the properties of the Bluetooth-networkconnection then go to tab Bluetooth and click on Settings for Bluetooth-support or Bluetooth settings

Here you have tabs like: Options, COM-Ports, Hardware, Share and Sync. Under tab Share there is a checkbox called:

- Allow Bluetooth devices to use your modem to connect to the Internet or to send a fax

Is it because the Atheros AR3011 does not support this feature.

Or is it because 2 drivers aren t installed properly due to HTC s bad drivers support.

Strange thing is, i can share the internet the other way around, from smartphone to laptop via bluetooth. With the option: bluetooth tethering in Android s Network Share Options.

So if it can go this way, why can t it go the other way, from laptop to smartphone.

Hope you have an answer for this.

The HP Multimedia Keybord driver for Vista 64-bit and I suppose the 32-bit works just fine on Windows 7. You just have to be smart enough to figure out how to install it.

I have it running just fine on Windows 7. It runs like a charm.

To install you need to take several steps:

Go into the folder options and turn on show hidden files, folders, and drivers in the view sub-panel of Folder Options.

Then download and run the Vista version of the installer. You will eventually get a dialog box that asks if you want to continue or cancel. At this point DON T ANSWER.

Go to  c: Users your user name AppData Local Temp

There will be at least one folder in there that has a name that starts with a

Pick the one with the closest time to when you executed the HP installer and copy it to some other folder you create on the desktop.

Select cancel on the running HP install app. If you hadn t copied the content of the original folder to another location, the original installer would have deleted this content.

Inside the folder, there will be a sub-folder called src

Double click on the Install app and let it run.

It takes a few minutes but let it run and then reboot.

My Windows 7 is now running fine and all of the keyboard functions work

Warning: Win 7 is BETA software. If this screws up your PC don t go crying to HP like a little girl. It isn t their fault. Only yours. If you re runnning a beta on your main PC you lack good judgement anyway.

As I ve said, it runs fine on my Win 7 box and I ve read that most drivers for Vista work on Win 7.

I tried the instructions outlined above, twice, and failed. First, I

could not see any file pftB016 within or outside of, as a matter of

fact the designated file. When I tried going ahead anyway, the resart

screen after the install of the multimedia driver sp37354.exe hung for

a long time, 15 minutes or more, at the starting windows screen with

the Win 7 logo, which was fuzzy and never became clear. Eventually, I

shut down the computer and did a hard reboot, which required the system

So either my computer is having a MS-HP fit, I did something totally off-base, or

Incidentally, I have a Pavilion s3120n with AMD Athlon and a clean install of Win 7 32bit.

Anyone have any further in put, Please.

I had the same issue but I remembered that a lot of stuff that doesn t work normally will work if you do it in Safe Mode it s how I got the touchpad utility on my laptop to work without notifying me every time I start the computer. I put the PC into Safe Mode then ran the installer as an Administrator from Safe Mode and it worked. So do that if it s never adding anything to the KBD folder and it s telling you there were issues in creating the files in the. log file. It should work if you go into Safe Mode and execute the Install.exe file as an Administrator.

Well I got my multimedia keyboard and mouse to work with Windows 7 finally. In part thanks to this thread - thanks guys. There does seem to be a quirk with load times though that I would like to ask if anyone else notices.

First off: My computer is a Pavillion a6077c. My wireless keyboard part number is 5188-6816 and the mouse part number is 5188-6926. I have fresh installed Windows 7 32 bit retail upgrade - not HP upgrade on the machine nuking Vista completely. Like everyone else, I tried using the Vista drivers but HP s decision to put an OS check in the drivers really made me mad and left me hanging. Because of that I will never buy an HP product again nor use their products at our business guess who makes the decision to purchase hundreds of machines for our IT department. Ya, revenge is sweet..

Anyhow stumbling on this thread, I tried all kinds of driver packages and procedures to get it installed and ended up using the sp44446.exe driver package for Windows 7 32 bit. This package was the only one that worked for me. Initially I thought it didn t work though. But if you leave the machine for five or so minutes after loading into Windows 7, it does seem to end up working. As soon as you boot up into Windows and you try to pop open the DVDRW using the enhanced buttons or any advanced button even the on-screen volume settings will not work. If I leave the machine alone for about 5 minutes though, then things DO work just fine. There must be some kind of load delay going on. Has anyone else noticed this lag.

I have not yet tried my eHome receiver beanbag 570-2584 and the MCE remote 5070-2583. I hope they work under Windows 7. We ll seeIf anyone has feedback on the receiver/remote, please post your experience also.

I m on windows 7 x64 and I installed the drivers you guys provided here, but I am not seeing the option to configure the keys in control panel keyboard properties. What s up.
